RATES: A Group discount of 5% is available for 5-9 individuals and a discount of 7% is available for 10+ individuals with a single payment source. Each member of the group is required to have a separate and unique email address for registration.

Access GROUP registration page to register your group. GROUP Registration allows for registration of 5-9 individuals at a time (5% discount) or 10+ individuals (7% discount).

Accessibility

Dress & Attire

While traditionally, Conference guests choose to attend in casual or business casual attire for convenience, there is no formal dress code. We strive to make our Conference as comfortable and accessible as possible to all who attend. 

Getting & Staying Here

Ride share and taxis are readily available and offer great pricing. Most, if not all activities, occur in the host hotel. The area around the hotel is extremely walkable… even in February!

Several options are available. If you’re coming from cities like Boston, Dallas, New York, or Philadelphia, Amtrak offers easy access to Chicago at their Union Station, which is less than one mile ride from the Palmer House Hilton Hotel. If you prefer to fly, Chicago has two airports to choose from, Midway International Airport, located in metropolitan Chicago is 12 miles from the hotel and O’Hare International Airport, located in the north Chicagoland area is further at 18 miles. Both airports are accessible by car, public transportation, ride share and taxi. For those traveling by auto, Interstates 55, 80, 90 and 94 can get you to the city.

Self-parking and valet parking are available at a downtown Chicago partner facility. Located at 55 East Monroe Street, the parking garage is directly across from Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel and can be accessed from Monroe Street (eastbound traffic) or Adams Street (westbound traffic). 

The Palmer House Hilton, centrally located in downtown Chicago, has a special conference rate of $149 per room per night, plus applicable taxes a. Register here: . The deadline for this rate is February 6, 2024.

Registration

Cancellations and requests for refunds will be accepted through February 3, 2023. Requests should be sent in writing by fax or e-mail. The following fees will be charged for cancellation and refunds. 15% for requests received before December 31, 2022; 20% for requests received before January 14, 2023; and 30% after January 31, 2023. Please allow a minimum of 4 weeks for processing. Our fax number is 773-548-6699 or email conference@sdpconference.info.

It’s possible that the confirmation email was sent to your spam or junk email folders. Please check there for an email from conference@sdpconference.info. 

The full cost of registration to the Conference is $475. However, if you register by October 31, 2023, you will receive a $125 early bird discount. There are discounted prices following; however – if you act quickly – you can register for the Conference for as little as $350! 

Registration can be paid for by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted). Your registration can also be paid by a check if you download your registration form and mail it into our offices, 4533 South Lake Park Avenue, Chicago, IL 60653.

Registration includes access to all Conference sessions, including plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, worship services, and networking events.

Established in 2003, The Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, Inc. (SDPC) is heralded as an esteemed global network of diverse ecumenical faith leaders, seminaries, denominations, and non-profit organizations engaged in the work of justice across a myriad of prescient issues.
